La Liga 2025-26: What is Barcelona’s likely starting XI for a new season?

Defending champion Barcelona will want to keep his La Liga Crown when it starts the new season against RCD Mallorca on Saturday.

After winning the Domestic Treble last season and reaching the semi -final of the UEFA Champions League, Barcelona chose not to rearrange the young team too much, so that only a few movements were made in the summer transfer window.

The club signed 24-year-old goalkeeper Joan Garcia from Espanyol for a six-year-old deal, while Wojciech Szczęsny drew an extension of two years. Club captain Marc Andre Ter-Stegen undergoes a back operation and will probably be out three months.
