England won his second European championship title after beating Spain in the final of the Ladies Euro 2025 in the St Jakob Park in Basel on Sunday.
The match ended 1-1 after 120 minutes, with Mariona Caldentey and Alessia Russo found the back of the net for Spain and England respectively.
In the shootout, Spain missed three penalties, including two saves from England goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, before Chloe Kelly turned the winning penalty from the place.
The title is also England -manager Sarina Wiegman’s third consecutive Euro title after winning in 2002 with England and with the Netherlands in 2017.
