The third qualifying round for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup will witness exciting battle for a spot in the continental tournament, which will be played in Saudi Arabia two years later.

After the fifth matchday of the third round of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, India have failed to win a single match and are currently bottom of Group C.

This round will secure six places for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, with the top performers from each group advancing to the tournament in Saudi Arabia.

India were eliminated from the qualifying race after a 1-2 defeat to Singapore. In their fifth match, the Blue Tigers were defeated 0-1 by Bangladesh in Dhaka. Singapore has now qualified for the continental tournament after beating Hong Kong 2-1 on Tuesday.
