Goals of Illia Zabarnyi and Lucas Beraldo insured Paris St Germain a 2-0 win over Auxerre on Saturday, only five days after the champion to his first Ligue 1 defeat of the season fell against Olympique de Marseille.
The result brought leader PSG to 15 points, making it three points free from Marseille, Monaco, Lyon and Strasbourg. Lyon could match PSG’s count if the Lille beats on Sunday.
«It is good to be back to our Champions manner. It was important today and I think the team did well. Personally it is great for me to score here, in the Parc des Princes, my first goal,» Zabarnyi said Ligue 1+.

The Ukrainian defender scored the opener in the 32nd minute with a left-wing volley in the distant pole of a Vitinha cross just after Auxerre keeper Donovan Leon blocked Lee Kang-in and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
After the interval, Beraldo went home from the cross of Senny Mayulu and used a chance only a few minutes after Bradley Barcola wasted a one-on-one chance with Leon.
Achraf Hakimi thought he scored the third goal, but his effort was excluded from offside.
PSG will be confronted with Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday.
