List of 2026 FIFA World Cup match officials: Argentina and Brazil have the highest representation


FIFA on Thursday announced an extensive list of match officials who will be in action at the upcoming 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the US, Canada and Mexico from June 11.

The contingent of referees, dubbed ‘FIFA Team One’, includes 52 referees, 88 assistant referees and 30 video match officials, drawn from all six confederations and 50 member associations.

The list also includes six female officials, just like the previous edition held in Qatar.
