The morning vibrations were not super peach for me. Leaving my tensioned lump, I continued the climb that I started at the end of the day yesterday. The conditions of the path were the standard things of the northeast, highly eroded, rocks, roots and mud. Try this … Imagine walking on the sidewalk or a good path of pine needle or something. You can step on Stride, right? Each leg is naturally thrown and a kind of balances is presented near the ground. In this type of trail, that cannot happen.
Each step requires more thought and energy. Instead of moving forward, you must bring your foot and leg up and on some obstacle and then consciously think about placement or risk a turn in the ankle or a complete on the trip and fall. To add to this, things felt suffocated this morning. It was a bit dark and so humid and there was an occasional section of a path covered with vegetation that reached the point where you have to pass.

The two mountains, Old Blue and Bemis offered no views for themselves, but things were thinned at the highest points and a refreshing breeze passed. Despite all this, I was still in a good mood. However, the spiders tried me. I would say that finding a website is a daily event here, but this morning it was a battle. Like my fight against slugs a while ago, it seemed that they had created an ambush for me. I couldn’t use the trekking post because it was steep and wanted to use them to push me along the path. Then I had no defense. And there were really spiders in some of these too. Puaj.
I was prepared to deal with this all day, but I didn’t have to do it. At breakfast, I stopped at a point labeled as «view» and after that, I obtained an open rock area that made me want to run. The rest of the day was quite wonderful.
A little mist, but look closely at the sight. There is a giant lake out there!

I left my cookies with chocolate sparks in my oatmeal. Maybe my best idea.
Here are post breakfast photos …

I had lunch in one of the lower lifting currents. I had been looking for a place to make a quick jump and rinse and I thought this would. It was quite small and not so deep, but I made it work haha. It was more a current than a fall in reality.

Post Lunch offered a visualization and access of stellar ponds. If I had known that I could have waited and swim in one of them, although I have heard rumors that some have leeches and I am not in that.
The path crossed a road where there was a good scenic show.

So, these are almost called «ponds.» What about that? For me, a pond is small and shallow and may or may not have much aquatic vegetation. Some of these that call ponds are quite large and for me they should be considered lakes. Is this a regional social language difference? Or, what is happening? Perhaps, it has more to see, that although they have large surface areas, they are still superficial and, therefore, fit better in the pond category. HMM, very curious.

Towards the end of the day I did not have a specific place in mind to camp and I was looking for anything. I ran into a hiker named Vancouver and she was in the same situation. We both ended up using a scattered place that other hikers had already clearly disturbed, but it was quite inclined and lumpy with the roots. Exhausted and near the crossing of the road where I hope to visit the city tomorrow, I went for it and I was glad to do it.

Finished audiobook:
«A WRINKLE IN TIME» (1962) – Madeleine L’Me
An interesting and peculiar book … I liked it. Although it is a classic, I have never read it before or see the movie. If it is honest, I am surprised that it is a classic, but because of the sounds of the author’s notes and forward, it seems that this is part of the intrigue. It is really not just a book for children and does not fit into a specific genre. It was short and a quick listening.
Day album:
«Arcadio del Estadio» (2006) – Red Hot Chili Peppers
