Manchester City has expanded its kit partner with PUMA for a long-term agreement, the club announced on Tuesday, with British media reports that say that the deal is worth around 1 billion pounds ($ 1.35 billion), making it the largest in the Premier League.
The new contract runs for at least 10 years, according to reports, according to a record of 100 million pounds per year for the club. City previously signed a deal of 65 million pounds a year with the German kit manufacturer in 2019.
The agreement is expected to determine a new benchmark for kit manufacturer deals under English clubs, with the 900 million pounds of Manchester United contract with Adidas, signed in 2023.
City has received an exceptional run since 2020, won four consecutive Premier League titles and the Treble secured in the 2022-23 season. However, it did not win a big trophy last season.
City starts on August 16 with the Premier League campaign of 2025-26 with a trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
