The manager of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim, had promised the fans of the club that better days came after the last match day last season. And that journey could continue very well on Thursday when the Red Devils will take on Bournemouth in the Premier League Summer Series.
United has played four pre-season matches so far and has only lost the first match against Asean All-Stars. These games are expected to offer valuable playing time to new signing sessions, Matheus Cunha, Diego Leon and Bryan Mbuemo, before the Premier League starts.
In the meantime, the cherries come in the game after a 3-0 win over Everton and will try to continue their preparations for the competition in Chicago.
Although the side was weakened after defender Dean Huijsen came to Real Madrid last summer, Bournemouth has not lost from United in a competitive fixture since May 2023 – one that could be sufficient to make another upset.
