AC Milan’s match against Como, which at one point may have been played in Australia, will now be held at San Siro on February 18 during the Winter Olympics.
The Italian football league confirmed the playing time on Saturday, bringing the number of matches in Serie A to three during the Milan Cortina Games in Milan.
And that won’t even be the biggest Serie A match held in the city during the Olympics DENA.
Serie A leaders Inter Milan host rivals Juventus on Saturday, February 14 – one of the biggest games in the competition annually – with a 8.45pm (1945 GMT) kick-off at San Siro. The United States will simultaneously play Denmark in a men’s hockey match; and that evening short track speed skating was also contested in Milan.

Milan then host Parma on Sunday, February 22 at 6:00 PM (5:00 PM GMT) in a match that should end at around the same time as the start of the Olympic closing ceremony in Verona.
The Olympic Games take place from February 6 to 22 RIVO.
The Milan-Como match was originally scheduled for the first weekend of the Games, but the San Siro will be used for the opening ceremony on Friday and will not be available that weekend. That issue prompted Serie A to consider moving the match to Perth, Australia.
Now the Milan-Como match will also be played at the same time as the Champions League play-offs.
For the play-offs on February 17-18, Inter will play the first leg at Bodø/Glimt, Atalanta will visit Borussia Dortmund and Juventus will travel to Galatasaray.
