Major League Soccer has suspended Inter Miami star Luis Suarez for three games, who takes him out of the rematch of the club with the Seattle Sounders after Suarez spit with a Seattle employee after the final of the Leagues Cup.
The Leagues Cup Organizing Committee has previously suspended Suarez for the incident, but that only dealt with future participation in the tournament with MLS and Liga MX clubs. The committee noted in a statement that MLS had the right to impose extra discipline.
While the Sounders concluded a 3-0 victory in Seattle to win the cup, the teams received a handle with the Suarez Spitting Incident and Miami midfielder Sergio Busquets who seemed to blow a blow.

Now Suarez is not eligible for the Inter Miami match in Charlotte FC this weekend, September 16 against a visit to Seattle and 20 September against a visit to DC United.
Suarez, a 38-year-old Uruguayan who once played for Liverpool and Barcelona, has a history of bad behavior on the field. He has been suspended three times for biting opponents, and he was once suspended for racial abuse, although he denied the claim.
Sounders -Assistant -Coach Steven Lenhart also received extra punishment from MLS after the Leagues Cup organizing committee has suspended five games for reported violent behavior.
MLS drew the references of Lenhart for the rest of the season, which means that he «cannot be on or near the playing field, neither in or around the changing rooms, or tunnel», according to the press release of the competition. Lenhart can attend the home games of Seattle in public seats. MLS has also imposed an unprecedented amount.
