Defending Indian Super League (ISL) champions Mohun Bagan Super Giant will look to capitalize on the momentum of winning the IFA Shield as they take on two-time ISL champions Chennaiyin FC in the AIFF Super Cup 2025-26 in Goa on Saturday.
Bagan, who have courted controversy among his fan clubs over his decision not to travel to Iran for the AFC Champions League Two match against Sepahan, have continued their domestic success by winning the IFA Shield earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Chennaiyin is a shadow of its past, having last won a trophy – the ISL Cup – in 2018, while its last appearance in a final was five years ago.
