Montenegrin Club FK Arsenal Tivat had reduced its ban from UEFA Club matches to seven years from 10 and the fine of 500,000 euros ($ 586,750) to 400,000, on Wednesday, after the club had appealed against the costs of the match fixing.
UEFA’s control, ethics and disciplinary authority (CEDB) changed its decision in July, which had imposed a longer ban after an investigation into accusations of Match-fixing during the qualification of the Conference League with Alashkert FC in July 2023.
Arsenal Tivat goalkeeper Dusan Puletic’s 10-year-old suspension has also been canceled. In July, Tivat player Nikola Celebic and official Ranko Krgovic also received lifelong ban on the CEDB.
