Nice pond mountain to the hebron lake

It was a strange day. Starting, I walked only a very short way and stopped to take a one -hour break at the top of Middle Mountain. There was a cell service there and I wanted to take care of something while I was in my mind at 5:43 am. I even boiled water to have coffee.

I think this change took me out of my regular routine and all day he felt like a blur. I was a lot in my head. There was logistics for later and bigger things that were in my mind. However, hiking was pleasant!

Bald Mountain in mid -morning was particularly incredible. And in the last half of the day he walked with some different rivers that were also quite stellar. It was also one of the most cruise days of the entire path. Some points were up and down, but in general, it was remarkably soft in my opinion.

And we are out …

Brolosas seen at dawn at the top of Middle Mountain.

I love this rock bed!

Moxie Pond. If not so early in the morning, it would have been a great place to swim.

If these are not called Snickerdoodle Shrooms, they should be.

That is what I’m talking about!

Beautiful path.

Near the top of Moxie Bald Mountain, there were some really orderly rock structures that surprised me.

Still on the way up. I am quite sure that that is Moxie Pond … the same body of water from which I took the photo above (the one that has the dock).

When leaving Moxie Bald Mountain, I felt the pull to make some miles. He had taken another long break there and still had a way to go. Then, the races was.

This was a place for lunch at Bald Mountain Steam. I did not go to complete swimming, but a beautiful foot and splashes/rinse in another place. I dropped to my ear on that inclined rock and, of course, they slid in the water. I somehow rescued them, but to determine how long they last.

The walking river was sometimes pleasant, but occasionally the path shot and then went down again for my dismay. I think it was the West Branch Piscataquis river.

This is the powerful Piscataquis river of the east branch.

After crossing East Branch’s fish through the Beaver dam (?) Down, the path shot up. However, even this little problem was not so bad. That said, for some reason, the Magic Trail refrigerator I saw at the top was one of the most wonderful gifts I received throughout this route. I really needed a dew at that time haha.

The last bit after this was easy to walk. I intended to keep my frozen soda for dinner, but I couldn’t wait and opened it while walking. I found a good place to launch my store for the night of the west end of Lake Hebron.

Once again, there were sleeping snacks. Or, at least, I think that’s what they were. There were some ships in this pond, but eventually they left. Another solid day despite being in a fog mind set for most.
