The goalkeeper Ederson, goalkeeper of Manchester City, has said that all reports on his approaching departure from the club are fake news in the close season when he entered the last year of his contract.

Ederson has been the number one in the city since he arrived at the Benfica club in 2017 for 40 million euros (USD 46.90 million).

The 31-year-old has won six Premier League titles and the Champions League with City, while he also claimed the Premier League Golden Glove three times for the most clean sheets.

The Brazilian was heavily connected to a move to the Saudi -Pro League and stated that he had received an «unusual proposal» in October, but said at the World Cup that his head is with the city.
