Newcastle United has confirmed the signing of the English midfielder Jacob Ramsey from Aston Villa.
Ramsey will be the fourth permanent signing of Newcastle of the summer together with Anthony Elanga, Aaron Ramsdale and Malick Thiaw in a frustrating transfer window. The magpies have missed a number of transfer targets, while star starer Alexander Isak wants to leave the club.
Ramsey, an attacking midfielder, joins Newcastle from Boyhood Club Aston Villa. He made his first team debut for Villa in 2020 and scored 17 times in front of the side.

The Premier League season of Newcastle came to a mixed start, because it applied an impressive version against Ramsey’s old side, but could not take advantage of an Aston Villa Red Card because the match ended with 0-0. It will now be confronted with Liverpool on Monday 25 August.
