Inter Miami has to regroup quickly, and the host New York Red Bulls want to keep rolling while they are tuned in Harrison, New Jersey on Saturday evening.
Miami (11-4-5, 38 points) comes from a donable 0-3 loss on Wednesday in Cincinnati, who broke a five-game winning streak and six-game unbeaten piece in League Action.
Lionel Messi, who is expected to play against the Red Bulls (9-8-6, 33 points), saw the end of his Major League Soccer-Record streak of five games that scored multiple goals.
Miami, who will play his ninth game on Saturday at a period of 36 days, also announced on Friday that starting goalkeeper Oscar Ustari will not play against the Red Bulls.
Ustari left the Wednesday game in the 25th minute with what looked like an injury on his left. Rocco Rios Novo replaced him and gave a few second half goals.
It is unclear how long Ustari will be out, but coach Javier Mascherano hinted that it could be at least a few days.
«I couldn’t say how long he will be gone. The doctors can probably say better if the coming days play themselves,» said Mascherano. «Hopefully it’s not a long absence.»

New York struggled three points of the New England revolution on Wednesday with an impressive second half comeback. The Red Bulls scored five goals between the 56th and 88th minutes to erase an early 2-0 short and overcome 5-3.
«I mean, five goals in the second half are crazy, something that does not happen often for us,» said Daniel Edelman, who scored the first of those goals. «It was good to see that we wanted more. We wanted to get the third, fourth, fifth.»
Emil Forsberg and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting followed the goal of Edelman by scoring two each to feed the comeback.
The Red Bulls, who lost 4-1 to Inter Miami in their first meeting in South Florida on 3 May, are at home on a seven-game undefeated series that extends to DC United on April 19.
Cameron Harper (knee), Lewis Morgan (Thij) and Serge Ngoma (Dij) will probably not play against Miami, who are figures without Ian Fray (adductor), Baltasar Rodriguez (Hamstring) and goalkeeper Drake Callender (Hernia).
The Red Bulls are in eighth place in the Eastern Conference.
