Odisha FC has announced that CEO Raj Athwal has left after five years with the club.
Athwal was in charge of the men’s team’s victory in the 2023 Super Cup, as well as the women’s victory in the Indian Women’s League in 2023-2024. Both sides also qualified for the knockout stages of the AFC competition during his tenure.
“The club would like to thank Raj for his leadership, professionalism and contributions during his time at the club,” the club said in a statement. X.
In the same statement, club owner Rohan Sharma said: «Having known and worked with Raj for five years, I am sad to see him go. I know he will always be a well-wisher to the club. He knows he is always welcome and I wish him nothing but the best for him and his family.»
General manager Ravi Khedar will become the primary point of contact for club matters in the meantime, pending further clarity on the future of the ISL.
