One spectator died and several others were injured after they had fallen from a top position of the stadium after MC Alger who won the Algerian Top-Flight League for the second season in a row, said the media reports on Saturday.
MC Alger said that one of his supporters had died in the incident in the stadium of 5 July 1962 in the capital Algiers, in which Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune offered his condolences and wanted a quick recovery for the wounded.
«It is with great sadness and sadness and with hearts that we received the news from our supporter Younes Amguzzi, who died after falling from the upper stands,» said Mc Alger in one Instagram after.
Local media reports said the spectators fell after a fence in the upper standard, with El Heddaf TVS Facebook Page post a video with a part of a railing that collapses in the bottom layer.
The wounded spectators were taken to the hospital, where MC Alger players, employees and managers also started donating blood while the trophy presentation ceremony was postponed, the reports added.
