We are in the last stage of the JMT!
Day 15:
We arrived on the road after a good night at the Cabaña in Red’s Meadow. Today it has been difficult due to elevation changes. We had lunch in a beautiful lake where I enjoyed my nutella with PB and bread. The trucks said: «I classify in the JMT section if divided from the PCT between Red Meadow and Thousand Islands Lake better than the stretch of the PCT there.» (The truck driver walked the entire PCT in 2022.)
The highlight of Mum today is going through several beautiful lakes like Shadow Lake and Camping of Ruby Lake.
The highlight is to configure the store and settle for the night.
Day 16:
It has been easier to go today, although we are doing Island Pass and Donahue Pass. I thought Donahue would be a difficult pass, but it really happened in the bat of a eyelashes. The land sliding lizard was even interviewed on the way by Donahue. We also enter Yosemite today. Woo Hoo! When we reached the top of Donahue’s pass, we had a good break and there were some very, very beautiful and pika marmotes. When we started down, we met some southern hikers who said that the last section is not very buggy and I am very excited. 🎉 And we only have 28.4 miles until the end of the path. I have my eyes in a pizzeria that we saw in the valley.
The highlight of my day was to reach the top of the Donahue pass and know that I have no more passes to do!

The most prominent aspects of LSL’s day were to overcome the last pass of the JMT Novo and see Lake a thousand islands this morning.
The highlight of Trucker is that his poop was really good. Ah, the simple pleasures of being a hiker. 😉
Day 17:
Neither my watch nor my mother succeeded to take me on time. We were supposed to get up at five and leave at six. Well … what It did not happen at all. I was tired. We woke up at 5:20 and leave at 6:20. However, close enough. We walked in the cold for a while, then I decided that it was warm enough to take off my swollen jacket and my sun hood at the same time. Truckee was running along the way because he was determined to get permissions to walk Half Dome. Well, we did it on time! We obtained our permits, then we walked to the Tuolumne Meadows store for breakfast.
For breakfast I got a stack of pancakes. Truck-in Mock also obtained a stack of pancakes and I think we could have shared a battery. The batteries have three pancakes and have at least 8 inches wide and larger than the dish in which they are served. Lizard Lady said he really enjoyed his gluten -free breakfast sandwich with eggs. I was much better after having a decent breakfast for varying. We were all quite full, so we decided to walk along the way a bit instead of the path, no longer to the purists. Fortunately, it was only half a mile until I returned to the real JMT. While we walked, I told myself a story to continue uploading the small ascent, while LSL and Mother Trucker talked about something or another.

Ready for some exciting news, guys? I made my first day of 21 miles, a new album for me! In addition to that I made a hero. If you don’t know what a hero is, it’s when you go out of the way, eat or refrain and then return to the way and do at least 21 miles in one day. Then, there are also others like a superhero, which are 25 miles with a stop, a super villain who is 30 miles and there is a mother truck driver who is 35 miles with a stop. Well, a quite incredible day, although I will have to admit that I am quite tired tonight. 🥱
The most prominent aspects of today’s landslides are that her breakfast sandwich put her in a good mood and found some large gluten -free cookies in the store and seeing «my gallon of Gal PJ a day of 21 miles!» The highlight of Truck-A-Muck is that the Tuolumne store was well supplied unlike the last time we were there (three weeks ago).
The highlight of today is that I won my album. And that tomorrow we will end the path John Muir!

Day 18:
We woke up with 6 miles to go. We started the descent to the valley and my knees immediately began to hurt. I told myself «Cush it, we are almost until the end.» The walk felt as if it were an eternity, knowing that we had almost finished. The descent was very steep and there were many other people who made the Yosemite valley day, walking slowly and covering the entire path. These people did not seem to know how to walk a single file along the way. When we entered the valley we had a pizza (from the roof). It broke when I picked it up. And the cortex? Well … let’s say nobody was throwing that pizza in the air. Then, he obtained a 3 out of ten. Although the pizza was not so good, I didn’t care because I was very happy to have completed the entire JMT! In total, we have walked 250 miles with additional miles from Cottonwood Lake to Mt Whitney (Southern Terminus). I am grateful to have met some lovely hikers along the way, have been able to experience this walk and the support of my people.

In addition, I am grateful to all the cats of this world that inspired me in my IHFC trip (walking through cats). Thanks to all those who have donated to me Cat collection.
