October Mountain Refuge Tom Campsite

I did not try or planned to happen, but somehow I walked all the miles today before lunch. The terrain must have been cruise. And I suppose I walked through the city of Dalton, which offered a flat and soft sidewalk that tornaba. The path also had some ponds and, as always, beautiful forest.

Once in Cheshire, I stopped on Diane’s Twist, a small ice cream shop, where a cold Dr. Pepper complemented my lunch very well. Subsequently, I found the camp of Father Tom, which is free for hikers and in the city … a wonderful service offered by the community!

I stayed in the tasks of my city, although I got some wheels to borrow to help. There were three bicycles available to use to travel around the city. I chose a small spaulding (later I would regret my choice slightly because it was too small for me).

First I arrived at the Post Office, where two packages have been waiting for a lot of time for it to arrive. Both were still fortunately there. A package contained «new» shoes. Once again I asked online a pair of boilers used in part to save costs, but also because I prefer the oldest versions of the shoe. These «3» are one of my favorite styles that have created. The other package was from the local team and contained my rain jacket (I’m getting rid of the poncho … I like the idea of ​​that, but this failed me), a new hiking shirt and some fun foods and candy and desserts to try.

I also found my way to the DG and I replied and visited the city’s convenience store, where I picked up a subconscious sandwich of sad appearance for dinner. Then he returned to the camp where I washed a little through the hose and I could organize. Several other hikers also stayed there, but I wanted to stick to my store once the night came. I met with Pony boy whom I had seen in Georgia, I think. Such a pleasant place here in Cheshire.
