TThe cause of death has been revealed for hiking an influencer that was found dead just outside a path on Arizona last month. Hannah Moody, 31, was killed by exposure to environmental heat during his day walk, announced the forensic doctor of Maricopa County. His death was governed accidental.
According to the reports, Moody was an experienced hiker who shared his in -line walks with his approximately 45 thousand Instagram followers. He set out to walk through the Gateway Loop Trail at the Preserve McDowell Soundoan near Scottsdale, AZ, May 21. Temperatures reached 102 degrees Fahrenheit that day, but Moody reassured his followers before the walk that carried a large amount of water to combat extreme heat.
When he could not register unusually with friends and family that night, they reported that his disappearance, causing a search. His body was discovered only 600 yards from the parking area of the path the next morning.
«I hope you haven’t suffered,» said Hannah’s mother, Terri Moody, talking to Azfamilia. He also expressed the desire that the lessons of this incident could save the lives of other hikers in the future, so that Hannah’s death is not in vain. «It was preventable. As of May 31, Maricopa County was investigating 63 alleged deaths related to heat until that moment in 2025. The County reported more than 600 confirmed deaths related to heat in 2024.
