The new boss of Nottingham Forest, Ange Postecoglou, said he saw the reason for optimism in a disappointing defeat at Arsenal in his first game, promising forest fans who would soon see him stamping his attacking style in the team.

“Seven days ago their world was completely different from what it is today, and you have to understand that – I certainly do that.
“I can’t blame the pursuit and effort of the players. I thought we were hung there. We had never really had control of the game at any time, but we still thought, worked very hard in the first half.
«It was a kind of small seeds towards the end of the first half of us, perhaps able to cause a little problems, but the second goal killed the game directly after the break.»
Postecoglou said that he had six games in all competitions before next month’s international break to «start some of our principles in terms of how we want to play».
But he was emphasized that he wanted to see changes in the game of Forest as soon as the Midweek League Cup match against Swansea City.
Asked if it would take weeks or months before Bos played in his image, Postecoglou replied: «No, size, it will not be months, it will not be weeks, it will be Wednesday.
“I can’t afford to waste time. This is not a project. This football club (had) a strong season last year must be stronger this year.
“My job is to bring us where I want to be as quickly as possible. So by Wednesday evening we start seeing some real principles that are embedded.
