The new Premier League season is underway with another exciting season that is expected to be developed for the next 10 months.
In what will probably be another competitive campaign across the board, the writers of Sportstar make their predictions for what could be the outcome at the end of the season.
Champion
Liverpool. The 2024-25 season was a relative walk for a 20th English first division title for the Merseyside Club. Champions rarely tinker with their winning combination, but the side of Arne Slot has chosen the option of a makeover. When Alexander Isak also arrives on his coasts, Liverpool looks clear favorites for Arsenal and Man City. – Anish Pathiyal
Arsenal – Pranay Rajiv
Manchester City. A lot of top sets indicate that City goes all the way to keep the title after a trophy -free season. And let’s not forget it, the last time Pep Guardiola ended up a campaign without silverware with the club, he responded by bringing the city to 100 points. – Joan Matthew Jacob
Liverpool. Last year Liverpool was comfortably the best team in the competition, and the transfer industry only made it stronger. Other parties can pose a threat than last year, but the Reds are still clear favorites. – Aditya Padinjat
Arsenal. The Gunners have added quality and depth to their team in the transfer window. After coming close in the previous seasons, this could be their year. – Aashin Prasad
Arsenal. After adding some important new players, including a striker, Arsenal not only upgraded the starting set -up, but also added new dimensions to the attack. The Gunners, who already had one of the best defenses in the competition, further strengthened their backline in the summer. – Saikat Chakraborty
Arsenal. It is now or never for Mikel Arteta and he must ensure that the fourth time is the charm. The side now has a center ahead in Viktor Gyokeres, while it also strengthens other positions. – Rajdeep Saha
Top four
Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Chelsea. Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest have made great progress in the last four years. Man United and Tottenham Hotspur will also be looking for a fightback. But this collision can be limited to the Placks Europe and Conference League, because the top four look a different class on paper. – Anish
Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Villa – Pranay
Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea. All three clubs have been busy in the summer and have brought in many talents from all over the world. Liverpool and Chelsea will respectively have the Shield and Club World Cup triumphs to use as a boost for the new season, while Arsenal probably seems to continue to «trust the process» under Mikel Arteta. – Joan
Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea. There doesn’t seem to be much to separate those three sides Quale-Qualy. All three are in different stages of development, but I think they can lift themselves away from the pursuit package. – Aditya
Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, Brighton. The top three of last season choose themselves. There is a risk that the city will lose weight after the efforts of the World Cup in the club, while Rodri’s fitness remains crucial for the season. Brighton can be the surprise period in the top four – Aashin
Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea – Saikat
Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City. I don’t think people like Manchester United and Tottenham can get Hotspur Champions League, although I expect that they will end much better last season than their horrible. – Rajdeep
Dark horse
Bournemouth. Andoni Iraola is all impressed since taking over the Reigns in the South Coast Club. Despite the most important expenditure in the defense, Bournemouth still seems to be a side that is able to beat his weight to try to set up claim for a European place. – Anish
Aston Villa – Pranay
Sunderland. Sunderland has taken a page from Nottingham Forest’s book and spends more than £ 130 million in the summer after promoting the championship. After bringing in people like Granit Xhaka, Reinildo Mandava and Marc Guiu, who say that Sunderland cannot survive and end up 16th or 17th, positions in which some of the ‘TOP’ teams of the competition ended last season. – Joan
Brentford. Brentford has lost important figures in managers Thomas Frank and players Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, but it has held Mikkel Damsgaard and Kevin damage, both of whom flew under the radar last season. If a team can be trusted to have a plan for this type of turnover, it is Brentford. – Aditya
Brighton. After having brought only 5 points short of a Champions League place last season, Fabian Hurzeler’s side has the potential to make a large push for a European place, possibly even the Champions League. – Aashin
Brighton. The Fabian Hürzeler team finished eighth last season, five points of fifth place Newcastle, despite struggling with different injuries for important players. With very few abnormalities from the team in the summer and some smart recruitment, Brighton can beat his weight this season. – Saikat
Manchester United. I can already hear the ‘sighs’ after reading the name, but it can be a hit or a miss with the Ruben Amorim side. He seems to have received the players he wanted, those who match the formation that he is so strong with. United could surprise us all. – Rajdeep
Top scorer
Erling. The heavy investment of Liverpool in attack this season could see the goals that were distributed more evenly over their front line and that could help Haaland regain his crown. – Anish
Erling – Pranay
Erling. There are three things certainly in life – death, taxes and erling scoring goals from Haaland. The Norwegian has scored 124 times in 146 games for Man City, and with Mohamed Salah slowly get older and Alexander Isak still thinking about entering a throw, it seems a perfect opportunity for Haaland to run a goal for goal. – Joan
Erling. He is perhaps the most boring choice to make, but Haaland scored 22 Premier League goals in a ‘bad’ season for Manchester City last year, and it would not fail to expect him to bounce back again. – Aditya
Mo is wrong – The Egyptian will break a few more records – the oldest player to win the Golden Boot at 34 and to keep the title for most Golden Boot victories (5). – Aashin
Erling – Saikat
Viktor. According to the form that he was in Portugal in the last two seasons, the 27-year-old Arsenal Forward was able to ride on the happiness of beginners and pack the Golden Boot. – Rajdeep
Player to pay attention
Jorgen Strand Larsen. Strikers in relegation endangered teams are often difficult to assess the lack of goals. But by scoring 14 and helping another four in his debut -PL campaign, Larsen Bright shot in a wrestling Wolves outfit. With another solid year, he can be contrary to a top six in the course of a year. – Anish
Florian Wirtz. – Pranay
John Arias – Colombian attacker Jhon Arias may not be a young, South American prospect such as Chelsea’s Estevao. The performance of the 27-year-old for Fluminense in the club World Cup, where he picked up three player-of-the-match Awards during his run to the semi-final, is the proof that it is not too late to make a name for himself in the larger competitions. – Joan
Joao Pedro. Chelsea has been looking for a player to lead the border, and the versions of Pedro at the club World Cup were a promising audition. He connected well with Cole Palmer and finished sharply, making him one to keep an eye on this season. – Aditya
Matheus Cunha. He may be spectacularly good or becomes the newest victim in the Vortex of Doom Ie Manchester United – Aashin
Martin Zubimendi. The arrival of Zubimendi is expected to considerably strengthen the midfield of the Gunners. The Spaniard is known for its ability to control midfield, and offers a solid anchor that will upgrade the stability of the team. In addition to his defensive ability, he also brings a much -needed creative element to the team. – Saikat
Hugo Ekitike. He has already shown us a glimpse of what he can do in the match against Bournemouth. The Liverpool man can also be in the race for the Golden Boot. – Rajdeep
Relegation picks
Burnley, Leeds, Brentford, the investment of Sunderland in experience can be vital, because the club wants to immediately banish the series of promoted teams. Brentford’s point on Keith Andrews is a risk that is rarely taken in English football from the top flight. With the departure of Bryan Mbeumo and the possible exit of Yoanne Wissa, the team can struggle for goals that can ultimately spell Doom for his PL -stay – Anish
Everton, Leeds, Sunderland – Pranay
Burnley, Leeds United, Brentford. With Sunderland dubbed like the dark horses, the Wishful Thinking would be to assume that the other two promoted clubs – Burnley and Leeds United – will also experience success. In the meantime, the exit of important players such as Bryan Mbeumo and Christian Nørgaard and coach Thomas Frank and the lack of the right replacements have set the risk of falling down. – Joan
Leeds, Sunderland, Wolves. Finding goals is always crucial to stay on, and all three of the promoted parties seem to be a bit lacking for me. Burnley, however, had a record-breaking defense record that may simply be able to maintain them, while the replacements of Wolves for Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri are incredibly unchanged, making them potential candidates for relegation. – Aditya
Brentford, Leeds, Burnley. Brentford was able to break through the series of all three promoted teams that fell it next year. – Ailan
Leeds, Burnley, Brentford – Saikat
Wolves, Sunderland, Burnley – Rajdeep
