Manager Eddie Howe said that Newcastle United is still adapting to life without Alexander Isak after the transfer from the striker to Liverpool and called for patience while his new look attack is struggling to click in Focus.

While Howe was satisfied with a third consecutive clean slate in the competition, it only scored three goals in five games and it is 13th with only six points.
«It is three 0-0S away from home for us, which is really unusual with our attacking style,» Howe told reporters. “I think we will of course be attacking another team this year without Alex.
«I hope we are evolving to another team, hopefully a better team, but it can take a little time.»
Newcastle is looking for club record that Nick Woltemade signed to lead his attack after the departure of Isak to the Premier League champions in a record-breaking deal, and Howe said that more of the German is coming.

«I thought Nick played very well today,» said Howe. “I thought he was very effective with his footwork and his link.
«But we just have to know more and get used to him and his style more and more runners from him because he is very good in that respect.»
Newcastle next host English third side Bradford City in the League Cup second round on Wednesday.
