Tottenham Hotspur fought two goals to draw 2-2 in Brighton & Hove Albion, with Jan Paul van Hecke’s own goal and gave the visitor a merit of the loot on Saturday.
Van Hecke turned in a cross of Mohammed Kudus in the 82nd minute of an entertaining collision on the south coast, with the point that Spurs moved to second place in the Premier League.
Tottenham could even have gained a victory, but will be reasonably satisfied to keep his strong start of the season under the new manager Thomas Frank.
After five games, it has 10 points with its only league -the defeat at home in Bournemouth.
Brighton, which will also find that it should have achieved his second victory of the season, has five points.
«We sometimes have to be more relentless. Be more stable in some times,» said Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler.
«But we have to see the positives.»

Tottenham started the game in a strong way, with Kudus a lively presence, but it touched on a loser.
Brighton stopped a Tottenham attack and the first time Pass of Georginio Rutter sent Gambia forward Yankuba Minth, who was just aside, clear racet, and he was cooled with goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario for easy scoring.
Tottenham then donated the host a second goal with Lucas Bergvall and gave the ball deep on the right before Yasin Ayari had a straight -footed ride that vicario had to keep out after he got a hand on it.
Richarlison pulled a goal back just before the break, rose from close by after controlling a low pass to the area by Kudus, and Tottenham dominated the second half.
Replacement Xavi Simons was especially lively and was refused by a large salvation by Bart Verbruggen before he was still a chance after more good work by Kudus.
Tottenham, however, stopped, and when Kudus again delivered a dangerous ball over the area, it met Van Hecke’s thigh and nested it in the goal.
