Tottenham Hotspur rode on Saturday to an extensive 3-0 victory over West Ham United to let the home team in the Bottom Three of the Premier League blind, with the hammers still suffering a blow when midfielder Tomas Soucek was sent for a dangerous tackle.
Christian Romero had the ball in the net before Spurs with a header from a corner in the 19th minute, but the goal was immediately excluded by referee Jarrett for a push in the structure, where the VAR confirmed its decision as correct.
With the weakness of Tottenham, the West Ham -Penalty area seemed to be on a wrestling ring on each set piece, and it could have easily given a fine for some overy struggles, because it struggled to keep track of the Spurs players.
When the visitor took the lead in the 47th minute, it was predictable from a set when Pape Matar Sarr was left uncomfortably at the rear post, and he sent a powerful header from an Xavi Simons Corner who flew in the net.

Soucek then saw a straight red card for a terribly timed studs-up challenge on Joao Palhinha who tore the Sock of the Spurs player, and evaporated every chance of a comeback with his resignation.
Spurs worked the resulting free kick over the field for Lucas Bergvall to score his first Premier League goal with a loop head of Romero’s Cross, and the Swedish midfielder then shot up Micky van de Ven for the third in the 64th minute.
Up to 10 men, West Ham was attached to a large part of the rest of the game and hardly threatened the Spurs goal when it dropped to his third league -defeat of the season.
The victory moves tracks to the second in the table on nine points and leaves West Ham in the 18th with three points of the first four games.
