The Premier League title race may have more excitement in store as both contenders, Arsenal and Manchester City, could have rescheduled their matches in Round 30 of the competition.
League leaders Arsenal play Everton at home on March 15, while second-placed Man City face West Ham United at the London Stadium a day earlier.
However, as both teams are still in the UEFA Champions League, they will play in the round of 16 on March 10 or 11, with the second leg being played a week later.
“The Premier League informed UEFA that clubs scheduled to play on March 15 would not be available to play Champions League matches on March 17. Lihat juga cxv6. Unfortunately, UEFA was unable to provide any guarantees regarding scheduling prior to the draw,” the league said in a statement on its website.
As a result, two Premier League fixtures could be rescheduled at even shorter notice.
“The Premier League will continue its regular dialogue with UEFA regarding fixtures,” the statement said.
Arsenal, with 18 wins from 28 games, currently top the standings with 61 points, while Man City – with five points less – are breathing down their necks with an unbeaten run of five consecutive games in the league.
The Gunners play Chelsea on March 1, while City travel to Elland Road to play Leeds United on February 28.
