Everton completed the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Premier League-Rival Chelsea on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old midfielder came with a reported reimbursement of approximately £ 25 million ($ 33 million) and signed a five-year contract.
«Everton is one of the biggest clubs in the country, and I think the future will be rosy in the coming years. It was ultimately an easy decision to get and play for this club,» said Dewsbury-Hall.
This season Everton was busy on the transfer market, with Dewsbury-Hall the fifth major signing after Charly Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Mark Travers and Adam Aznou.
Dewsbury-Hall settled in Leicester before he arrived at Chelsea in 2024. But last season he only made two Premier League-Start, 19 in all competitions.
He said that the move to Everton had given him the «motivation and the extra determination to show everyone, to prove a point».
