Premier League clubs enjoyed a rise in television revenues between 2014 and 2024 that was almost equal to that of the rest of European club football combined, UEFA said on Thursday.
English clubs have benefited from an increase of 1.5 billion euros over the past ten years. In the same period, the combined increase in TV revenues at clubs from the 53 other European top division leagues amounted to 1.6 billion euros ($1.89 billion), highlighting the financial dominance of England’s top club.

England supplied five of the eight clubs that automatically qualified for the last 16 of this season’s Champions League. Newcastle joined them on Tuesday when they recorded a 9-3 aggregate victory over Qarabag in the play-offs.
UEFA’s European Club Finance and Investment Landscape report also highlighted the unevenness of overall revenue growth across Europe.
While the total revenues of Premier League clubs rose by 3.5 billion euros ($4.13 billion), those of the 76 clubs in Europe’s other four biggest leagues, namely France, Germany, Italy and Spain, grew by a total of 5.9 billion euros ($6.97 billion).
