Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was left for a collapse of the second half by his side in a 1-2 Premier League defeat on Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
City led in the first half through an Erling Haaland -goal at his 100th Premier League performance and looked in control for 60 minutes until a James Milner -Penalty brought the host to the host.
As the intensity of Brighton increased, City did not succeed in tackling and admitted again, the fine individual strike by Brajan Gruda.
«We admitted the goal and then shifted it (the momentum),» Guardiola said Sky Sports. “Until then it was real, really good. We had opportunities and the team looked aggressive and dynamic.
«We made a good hour, and after the last half hour we were not good. We forgot to pass the ball, just played long balls, and we were not good enough. It is what it is.»
Guardiola played 90 minutes midfielder Rodri, but admitted the changes he had made in his team last season and this led to a period of adjustment for the players.

«Rodri played a really good performance and he is a top character. I am glad he played for 90 minutes.»
City suffered back-to-back losses after a defeat at Tottenham Hotspur in his previous league match, but Guardiola said he wasn’t thinking about the title race yet.
«The season has just begun. There is a long, long season ahead. We will see what is happening,» he said.
City is the next home at the local rival Manchester United after the international break and then travels to Arsenal.
