Premier League: Why was Fulham’s kick-off against Liverpool postponed?

The kick-off for Sunday’s Premier League match between Fulham and Liverpool at Craven Cottage in London was postponed.

“Due to a medical incident in the crowd at Craven Cottage, kick-off for today’s match between Fulham and Liverpool has been postponed until 3.15pm (8.45pm IST),” the Premier League Match Center X account said in a statement.

The original kick-off time was 3:00 PM local time (8:30 PM IST).

Arne Slot’s team enters this match in fourth place with 33 points after a mixed first half of the current season. However, the defending champions look to revive their season after going unbeaten in their last five Premier League games.

Fulham, on the other hand, is in 14th place with 27 points.

This is the 37th meeting between the two teams in the Premier League.
