Real Madrid confirmed on Wednesday that Kylian Mbappé has suffered a left knee sprain.
«Following tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Medical Services on our player Kylian Mbappé, he has been diagnosed with a sprain in his left knee. Lihat juga vbn6. His recovery will be monitored,» the Los Blancos said in their statement.
Mbappé, the leading goalscorer of the 2025/26 La Liga season with 18 goals, scored a penalty for Real Madrid in the 2-0 win against Sevilla.
The French superstar also equaled Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for most goals for Real Madrid in a calendar year in 2013 (59) after scoring his penalty against Sevilla.
