Real Madrid Center Back Antonio Rudiger has wounded a muscle in his left leg, with reports on Friday that suggest that he can be offside for about two months.
Rudiger, 32, suffered an injury on Friday and will have more tests in the coming days, but the Daily AS reported that the injury was «serious».
Real said in a statement that scans had shown that Rudiger «had an injury to his rectus femoris muscle,» but did not mention how long he would be out.
The experienced German international has made a single LA Liga performance this season.

He fought last season due to injury, but still made 55 performances for the club.
Real Madrid drew an extra center-back this summer and took the 20-year-old Dutch Spanish international dean Huijsen from Bournemouth.
But the Spanish giant would like to sign the French international center-back Ibrahima Konate of Premier League champion Liverpool, possibly at the end of this season.
Madrid will be confronted on Saturday with Real Sociedad Away in La Liga and the 13-way European Champion starts his Champions League campaign at home to Marseille on Tuesday.
