Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois have muscle injuries and their condition is being monitored, the club said on Monday.
The La Liga club said that following tests carried out on Courtois by medical services today, the Belgian goalkeeper was diagnosed with an injury to the adductor longus muscle in his right leg. His recovery will be monitored.

Valverde suffered an injury to his leg during Madrid’s 0-0 draw against Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish league on Sunday. In the 83rd minute he was replaced by Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Madrid have not confirmed whether Valverde’s injury will rule him out of Uruguay’s upcoming matches against Mexico and the United States.
