Real Madrid and England midfielder Jude Bellingham confirmed on Sunday that he will undergo an operation to tackle a long-term shoulder issue after the club’s World Cup in the United States.
The 21-year-old, who has managed the injury since 2023, played for inconvenience for both club and country. Real Madrid has planned the operation to follow the tournament, which will be closed later this month.
Bellingham, who came to Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund earlier this year, often tied up during competitions during competitions. The injury was the first time in a match against Rayo Vallecano, so that he missed two games for both Real Madrid and England at the end of 2023.
