Bruno Fernandes scored a record-breaking 21st Premier League assist of the season as Manchester United demolished Brighton and Hove Albion 3-0 on Sunday.
As well as setting up Patrick Dorgu in the first half for the opener, Fernandes also scored a goal in the second half to seal United’s victory on the final day of the league match.
Fernandes’ goal contributions included a strike from Bryan Mbeumo in the 43rd minute that put United in control of the match.
This was the twentieth win of the season for the Red Devils, as they finished third in the standings and secured a return to the UEFA Champions League.
Meanwhile, Brighton finished eighth and will now compete in the Europa Conference League next season.
