Al-Nassr continued its flawless start to the 2025-2026 Saudi Pro League season with a 2-0 win over Al Hazm at King Abdullah Sport City in Jeddah on Saturday.
Goals from Joao Felix and Cristiano Ronaldo secured the three points, extending Al-Nassr’s perfect run.
The breakthrough came in the 24th minute. Left back Ayman Yahya delivered an excellent, inch-perfect cross into the penalty area, before Felix guided the ball into the back of the net with a clever header.
HIGHLIGHTS OF Al Hazm vs Al Nassr
Ronaldo doubled Al-Nassr’s lead after a quick counter-attack. Sadio Mane was the catalyst, showing brilliant control to turn away from a defender and release Wesley. The Brazilian winger then passed the ball to the onrushing Ronaldo in the penalty area.
Although the Portuguese superstar’s shot was grazed, the deflection was enough to send the ball over the goalkeeper and into the empty net.
This victory means six wins from six matches for Al-Nassr. The last time the club achieved this feat, the club won the league title, which was an encouraging omen for The Knights of Najd.
Al-Nassr now sit at the top of the table with a maximum of 18 points, three points ahead of second-placed Al-Taawoun FC, who have 15 points from their six games.
