Ronaldo puts an end to Al Nassr’s attack and scores a goal on return to the Saudi Pro League

Cristiano Ronaldo ended his assault on Al Nassr in fine style by finding the back of the net in the Saudi Pro League 2025-26 match against Al Fateh at the Prince Abdullah Bin Jalawi Stadium on Saturday.

This was the 962nd goal of the Portuguese striker’s career and the first since he turned 41 earlier this month.

Ronaldo played no role in Al-Nassr’s most recent two matches in the Saudi Pro League and one in the AFC Champions League 2, amid reports that he was unhappy with the way the club is financed, especially after seeing rival Al-Hilal sign Karim Benzema last month bnbvn7.

Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli are all majority-owned by the Saudi Public Investment Fund.

Ronaldo, who has 18 months left on his contract, moved from Manchester United to Al Nassr in 2022 and has been one of the Saudi Pro League’s biggest ambassadors, with several European stars joining the competition since his arrival.
