Ryan Williams included in Khalid Jamil’s 23-man squad for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Bangladesh

India coach Khalid Jamil has named a 23-man squad for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Bangladesh in Dhaka. Australian-born Ryan Williams, who recently received his Indian passport, has traveled with the team but can only be included in the matchday eleven after approval from Football Australia, FIFA and the AFC. India trained in Bengaluru from November 6 and will arrive in Dhaka on Saturday evening. There is nothing at stake for India after last month’s loss to Singapore ended their hopes of qualification. India are two points at the bottom of Group C, level with Bangladesh.
