Saudi Pro Leuthor 2025-26: Ronaldo scores kick and Al Nassr Nassr Kaeelej 4-1

Cristiano Ronaldo capped a successful evening for Al Nassr with an extraordinary bicycle kick as the Saudi Pro League leaders defeated Al Khaleej 4-1 at Al Awwal Park in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

The 40-year-old Portuguese attacker managed to handle a cross from Nawaf Boushal in the final seconds of the match, which meant his tenth goal in the competition this season.

Meanwhile, Joao Felix and Sadio Mane also got on the scoresheet as Al Nassr continued their winning start to the campaign.

After a couple of goals were disallowed, the home side took the lead in the 39th minute after Felix placed the ball in the bottom right corner following Angelo’s cross from the left wing.

Felix turned supplier three minutes later, chasing the ball deep into the opposition half before laying it off to Wesley on the edge of the penalty area. The 20-year-old Brazilian then delivered a stunning finish into the top right corner to double the lead.

Al Khaleej responded well after the break, with Hawsawi halving the deficit with a thunderous strike from outside the penalty area just two minutes into the second half. The visitor kept his foot on the pedal, but Al Nassr’s goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi made a few nice saves to ensure that his team kept the lead intact.

As the pressure mounted, Mane got a much-needed third for Al Nassr in the 77th minute with a first-time strike from inside the penalty area.

Al Khaleej’s evening got worse when midfielder Dimitrios Kourbelis was shown a straight red in the first minute of stoppage time for a dangerous challenge on Ali Al Hassan.

Five minutes later, Ronaldo capped a successful evening for Al Nassr with his ridiculous acrobatic strike, which sealed the team’s ninth win in as many games in the competition.
