Former Chelsea players Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic scored when AC Milan Host defeated 2-0 for his first victory in Serie A on Friday.
Milan had left two goals after a video review, but it eventually got one that had halfway through the second half when Loftus-Cheek rose higher than everyone else to watch a free kick home.
The American striker Pulisic sealed the victory with an insured finish among the advancing goalkeeper four minutes in time.
The victory was a relief for Milan, who started the season with a shock destruction at home at newly promoted Cremonese.
Lecce has one point from the first two games.
Earlier, Cremonese was the first newly promoted side since Sampdoria in 2012 to win the first two games upon return after a hard-fought 3-2 victory at home in Sassuolo.

The 93rd minute spot kick from replacement Manuel de Luca was decisive for Cremonese and helped to be the first newly promoted side since Sampdoria won the first two games back in the top layer.
The result comes a week after the AC Milan had defeated 2-1 in the San Siro and it places the table at the top prior to the matches of this weekend. Sassuolo is meaningless after two games.
