Series A 2025-26: Juventus wins seven-target thriller against Inter Milan


Juventus took a dramatic 4-3 victory at home in Inter Milan on Saturday, with Vasilije Adzic a stunning added time winner to send the host to second in the Serie A classification and to order the visitor to a second consecutive defeat.

The home team took the lead twice, but Hakan Calhanoglu pulled the internal level on both occasions. The Thuram brothers seemed to have decided the game with Marcus who put Inter first and Kephren Equalizing before Adzic struck for Juventus.

Juventus is nine points, level with leader Napoli and for Cremonese and AS Roma, all of whom have a game in hand. Inter remains on three points.

Inter wanted to jump back from a 2-1 loss from home to Udinese the last time-out, but hit the back of the 14th minute.

Manuel Locatelli drifted a cross to the rear pole, where Gleison Bremer brought it back over the box and Lloyd Kelly sent his shot in the bottom corner.

Replacement Adzic gathered a pass from Jonathan David, took one touch before he unlocked an unstoppable screamer from a distance to keep Juve’s perfect start to the season.
