Spanish defender David Timor and FC Goa have parted ways, the Indian Super League club confirmed on Wednesday.

«The Club can confirm the departure of David Timor. Thank you for wearing the Orange with pride and fighting for the badge. Your experience and presence on the field will be missed. Good luck with what comes next, David. Once a Gaur, always a Gaur!» said a statement from the club.

The 36-year-old signed with the Goan club last July.

Before joining the ISL club, the centre-back scored a total of 143 appearances and eight goals in nine seasons in La Liga, with Osasuna, Leganés, Girona and Getafe. He added 261 appearances and 16 goals in the Segunda Division (second division of Spanish football).
