The countdown has begun!
In two weeks, I will embark on the adventure of his life. Walking along New Zealand (Aotearoa) along the path of TE AAROA (the long or ta).
My ta label and bracelet.
As my start date approaches, the emotion continues to build. Travel reserves are ready, and with the addition of a new waterproof and pants since mine exhausted; My team should now be ready.
I still have a little planning for the daily hiking objectives, but that will come on time. As things are, I am more a last minute planner.

Realizing that my rain team is no longer water resistant.
Meanwhile, I am breaking a new pair of shoes, and records some tourist miles while traveling from the Southeast Coast of the North Island to the Cape reboats at the northern end.
Finally, in my «training» agenda it is a river crossing course in Auckland. As a fairly small individual without much experience in the river, being swept on my list of fears. I hope to learn to read the hydrology of the river and obtain practical skills to help navigate any water crossing that you can find.

Nothing exceeds a beach dinner at sunset over view of the South Island.
As I spend every day, I feel incredibly fortunate to be in such a beautiful country, and I look forward to the humble experience of exploring it on foot.
Thank you
