The eighth edition of the CAF African Nations Championship (Chan) starts on Saturday 2 August, with Tanzania, which takes Burkina Faso in the opening match in the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
The tournament would be held in February 2025, but was postponed a day before the last draw due to «insufficient infrastructure, including stadiums, training facilities and hospitals» in the host countries
The biennial tournament will be performed over five locations in four cities spread over three co -hosting countries – Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
