The new keeper of Manchester City Gianluigi Donnarumma is ready to prove himself in the «best competition in the world» after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
For the first time, Donnarumma connected to City on Thursday after his £ 30 million ($ 40 million) to the Premier League club on the Deadline Day of Transfer.
The 26-year-old won the Champions League and his fourth French title last season, but PSG boss Luis Enrique made it surprisingly clear that Donnarumma was no longer the first choice in the Parc des Princes.

That paved the way for his move to the city, with a potential debut for the Italian in the Manchester Derby on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.
«It is a new chapter in my life and my career. Playing in the Premier League with Manchester City is a great emotion for me and I am ready for this challenge,» said Donnarumma.
“I have always dreamed of playing in the Premier League, because it is the best competition in the world. For a player I think it is achieving in the Premier League the maximum for his career, so I am really happy to be here.
«I am willing to go on the field for this club, which has tried so much to sign and I hope I can pay back that confidence.»
After having arrived in Manchester after having spent the international break with Italy, Donnarumma tries to get informed with Baas Pep Guardiola, his new teammates and the club’s facilities.
«It’s a club that has always fascinated me,» he said. “I have always followed City with pleasure. I see everything around me like the training center and the stadium, they are fantastic.
“You can’t say what the club values are until you really see it with your own eyes.
“The buildings and the staff here are fantastic, so I am proud to be here and be happy with the choice I have made and I hope I will make history here and win as many trophies as possible, that is my goal.
