In recent days during all my neros and zeros, I have been sleeping more hours. So today, when I woke up what used to be my normal alarm time, I felt quite tired and stunned. However, I should have packed quickly since I was already walking at 6:05 am the morning stretch was pleasant offering lush views of the dark forest and a point of view of smooth and occasional rock outcrop point.
I took an alternative because it seemed like a more sensible route for me and a map labeled with many «views» in that way. When I started up, I met Marley, Jake and Gracie … three big dogs. They seemed to be the best moment of their lives in Zig-Zagging from one side to another through the path and splashing the muddy puddles. His human was also close, but the dogs had all my attention.
Once on the crest, it was all that I expected and more with places of stellar observation.
Once I rejoined with the AT, I went down. And after a little reached a nice gravel path.

Ausa honey clusters with dried raspberries and an essential breakfast for «milk.»

Tavos! Maybe there were 10 children who immediately flew towards the trees.
Looking at Farout, it seems that the AT is a bit of strange here. To get to the top of Bear Mountain, the path essentially makes a loop disguise. I could have easily omitted everything, not turning off here …
Along the way, he had already decided that it was worth it. I liked the path along the entire circuit of the Bear mountain. Super views and led me to a giant observation tower. It was an occupied area and enjoyed speaking with visitors to one day. Throughout all this, I began to feel that I was doing it again, remembering what I like about this long -distance hiking issue.

View of the powerful Hudson

On a clear day, the New York horizon is supposed to be seen somewhere here.
The views, the good weather and the good path helped, of course, but I have also been obtaining dyes that I feel strong again. Now I know that this will be tested in the future every day, but I will take it when I can get it. A few days ago, it was as weak as a cucumber and everyone knows how weak the cucumbers are.
Leaving Bear’s mountain, things went down, down, until the Bear Mountain Inn is flattened. I checked the small coffee, but the prices were quite steep, so it opened. However, it was fun to see all the people …
Next, a trip to the zoo! I heard rumors that the path did this, but I struggled to imagine how I could get to fruition. There was no tariff or anything, just a section of the zoo opened to the public where the path is crossed. I found it interesting, but more than a bit sad to see them in their little «houses.» Snickers told me that I thought the animals were rescued from injuries and that they would not survive in nature. So that would be an increase for the whole matter.

There was also a small geological museum! These mastodon pieces were found only 14 miles north of the zoo area.
Interesting characteristics continued to arrive today. And all these things were one after another. Bear Mountain Overlook led to the area near Lake Inn and Hessian, which led to the zoo. Immediately when leaving the zoo, I crossed the powerful Hudson River through the Bear Mountain bridge …
Quite ordered experience. I really like this unique part of the giant crossing crossing rivers that seem to separate the different parts of the world. Hudson is quite iconic, so he once again felt a great moment of change. On the other side, a steep path led to a crest crest. It was popular for Dayhiker to visit Anthony’s Nark Lookout, a point of view. I had lunch at the crossroads, but I didn’t end up walking along the side path to go see him.

This covered grass path has become common in New York and I am not a fan. Shout: «I tics!» me.
About five miles from the trail was the Apalaches market. We had talked about Farout’s comments as a place to get a good sandwich or a little hot food and also a small refueling. It turned out to be a convenience store of the service station, but with some additional amenities such as the grill. I found some other hikers hanging, including Hyena, Hang Man and Crocodile. I sat down and stayed for about two hours and was the last to leave. I obtained a soda, hamburger with cheese and onion rings and, finally, some refueling over the next few days.
I had two different plans where to finish tonight and ended with the shortest mileage version. This meant that it could hang out in the Apalaches market until 5:30 pm more or less and then just walk another half mile along the path. A place called Graymoor. The pleasant people here have allowed hikers to come out in the baseball field for years and years. Today, there is even a pavilion and an outdoor shower. I looked on Google the place to discover a little more and this is what the article about the place said …
«Graymoor is the home of the Franciscan friars of the atonement and serves as a peaceful scenario for retreats held throughout the year» – – https://www.atonementfriars.org/pilgrimage-to-graymoor/
There were three other tents when I arrived, but that night the total would amount to approximately 12 tents more or less. Once again, I enjoyed having time to hang, although a good part of my time I spent going through my strange service station in refueling and organizing.
Thanks for joining the trip! It means a lot that you took the time to read these adventures. If you have been enjoying the blog and you also want to help children get access to the outdoor, help me support Outdoor empowerment network!
