Today I got a zero at Woods Hole Hostel. I did a lot of housework and just spent time relaxing. This hostel is amazing! Such a special place and history.
Route report
Tasks I did today:
- Laundry
- cut hair
- Clean equipment
- Finalized plans to reach Daleville
- Resupply box opened and food organized.
I spent the rest of the time relaxing on the front porch. Dinner was fantastic!
I asked the staff if anyone was going to church in the morning and if I could get a ride. They decided to form a group to go to a local rural church. I’m excited!
Thought of the day
Sometimes you need a day of rest. I really needed that today and I’m grateful for one more tomorrow.
people i met
I met Scout today. He’s a hiker from Pennsylvania. We had a really good conversation about diet along the way. I also talked to him about the reasons why I am here. I hope it was helpful and encouraging to him.
Plant of the day
Today there is no plant. You’ll have to wait until he gets back on the road.
