Thomas Partey arrives at the Court after he has been accused of five counts of rape

Former Arsenal player Thomas Pardeny arrived on Tuesday at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, London, where he will appear after he has been accused of five counts of rape.

The midfielder is also accused of one count of sexual violence, where the alleged violations take place from 2021-22.

His lawyer Jenny Wiltshire said earlier that he «denies all the charges against him» and that he «welcomed the chance to finally erase his name».

Pedey arrived at the court with a dark zipper up and wore a packing jacket.

The police said that the investigation into Pedey, now a free agent after his arsenal contract had risen at the end of last season, was opened in February 2022 when it first received a report of rape.

The five rape costs relate to two different women. The indictment of sexual violence relates to a third woman.
