Day 93-14 miles
Full house
Little Rock Pond is a popular place for a reason. It is a very beautiful area. Probably one of the most beautiful areas I’ve seen along the way.
The shelter was a newer and very pleasant refuge and it was full. A Jewish group that stays in the shelter with a young rabbi in charge of several young children.
They were very friendly and courtesy, but they were a bit noisy. They tried to be silent, but wake up beyond midnight from the hiker. Nor did they know how to use the headlights of the red light. For me I sleep deeply in almost anything now. I woke up a lot with the noise until everyone calmed down.

Early start
Around 4:30 I must have thrown the valve with my launch and lighting my air mattress because it had been deflated and the valve opened. That was a good reminder to wake me up and start. He had planned to start early today.
I have a little more than 13 miles to go to a road where I hope a transport driver will find me. I plan to move to yellow delicacies that is also owned by the 12th tribes, the same group with which I stayed in Virginia.

Tomorrow great
It was a fresh morning temperature in terms of temperature. Refreshing as a good fresh air conditioning. I still have my 15 degree bag. I decided not to change to a summer bag.
I knew I would need it again when I got into the northeast. So I use my decompressed bag like a quilt. Sometimes I use it to keep my feet hot on hot nights. I simply sleep in my pad. After walking all day, sleep is usually easy to get.

Beautiful pond
This morning the sun came out on the opposite side of the pond when I left. The pond had crystalline water. I could see all types of fish and some kind of swimming salamandra that fills the water. I can see why this area attracts so many visitors to the days.
I started walking at 5:30 this morning. When leaving the pond area I could hear a stream on my left. It seemed that he was probably falling by rocks and had small waterfalls.
Green Tunnel Syndrome
I was talking to another hiker about Vermont and how it has been a bit monotonous. He told me that several of the other hikers he has spoken with has expressed a similar discomfort about Vermont.

He said that once you get to New Hampshire, everything changes. Start obtaining views after climbing mountains and salts from the green tunnel. And then Maine is where there are views everywhere that you don’t even deserve, he said.
I cannot say that I am looking forward to going out of Vermont, since it would be too negative. I don’t want to print that in my brain. While it has been a monotonous green tunnel, there have been some beautiful areas.
I was excited to leave Massachusetts simply because of the fact that Knockerz had to leave the road twice in that state in our two walking attempts. In addition, Massachusetts had designated camps, which is a real pain in the ass. I was glad to leave Massachusetts to Vermont.
I am not even sure how far I am in Vermont now that I have not stopped to look. I have simply planned in advance the next few days. I have not really looked too much beyond Rutland. When I get to Rutland, I will plan my next replenishment.

Roca garden
Until now, the path this morning has been relatively easy. There have been some climbs, but for the most part more than 2 miles have passed per rhythm of hour.
When I saw the rock garden that appeared in the next promotion, I began to think that I was going to have to make a lot of rock. Apparently, the rock garden is just a small rock area with few rocks on the path.
It is a place that people had made several statues of Cairn. According to Farout, someone had arrived and knocked them all. But someone has already put them back.

Another mountain of bear
After walking, I listen to a 140 highway in the distance once. It should be there in approximately an hour and a half.
I was walking through a forest of firs. I can see a small view in a valley below. The sun has not risen on the mountains towards me and these dense trees are doing a good job hiding sunlight. But I can see that the sun shines in structures in the valley below.
The path continued to the 140 highway after crossing 140, the path began a long promotion to the Bear mountain. It seems that many states have a bear mountain. I know I’ve been to several bear mountains on this walk.

Jets or thunder?
In much of this walk, I have heard the great roar of the Jet aircraft over. It is surprising when you are in the middle of nowhere and you can still listen to the jets in the sky above.
Especially when you are on a flight route such as when we were on the flight route for Washington DC with airplanes that went and leave out loud for days on the path.
Yesterday I listened to a very strong rough of airplanes. So strong that it was like a continuous and distant thunder. I kept listening for some time. Scaled bear mountain, I heard the roar again today. I suppose that is a kind of military training area and those are military airplanes that I am listening to.

Steep crest
The path continues to descend to the Refugio de Minerva Fuechy and then began an steep climb to another crest that reminded me of the Nantahala area with falls to each side to deep valleys below.

Then I started the descent to Clarendon Gorge, where my transport service will catch me.
I stopped at the Airport Lookout, which had a beautiful view of the Valley below. It was a steep descent in the gorge.

Clarendon Gorge was very pretty. People were swimming in the river below. A beautiful long suspension bridge brought the path through the gorge. It is time to make a refueling and recharge and then get to the road again tomorrow.
